What is The League?
The League is an organized series of design and ideation challenges where participants are given a creative or marketing brief to respond to with AI-generated images, videos and other creative output.
What is Season One?
Season One of The League will consist of approximately 25-50 challenges, providing a variety of ways to test the skills and adaptability of the contestants. Participants are free to enter any of the challenges during the open submission period, and all challenges take place on the Hive3.ai platform.
How long is Season One?
The League will be divided into the regular season and the playoffs. The regular season will span 6-12 months and include approximately 25-50 individual challenges, each held at about a weekly cadence. The regular season will be followed by the playoffs. To qualify for the playoffs, participants must place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in any of the regular season challenges. The winner of the playoffs will be crowned Season One champion.
What challenges are included?
The League will feature various types of challenges that will span different modalities; however, they all require the participant to use generative AI as part of their creative process. Some challenges may be image based only, some may be video based and others could include a mix of both. It is also important to note that some of our challenges will include creating assets for real consumer brands. These challenges may have slightly different ownership stipulations as outlined in our Terms of Service and May have special prizes too.
How do the prizes work?
Prizes will vary on a challenge-by-challenge basis depending on factors like complexity. During the Regular Season, every competition includes an approximate cash reward pool of $5,000 across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. During the playoffs, the approximate cash pools will be much larger with a grand prize of $10,000 to $50,000.
When are challenges held?
Challenges are held regularly and usually on a weekly basis, so check the Competitions page often to keep up!
How are winners chosen?
A winner can be chosen by community voting, a panel of judges, or both! The specific approach and criteria will be clear on each challenge description so pay close attention to the details.

The League is inclusive and open to a broad range of participants. Anyone who is interested can join by creating an account and agreeing to the Terms of Service.
